Understanding Your Health Insurance Coverage Needs

I’ve found one article which important for us to understand.. enjoy..

“Due to skyrocketing health care costs, health care coverage is an essential thing to have these days. If you lack adequate coverage, you could be facing financial catastrophe after an unforeseen illness or injury. There are many different kinds of coverage for you to choose from, depending on your provider and your personal medical needs. The first thing you need to ask yourself is: what are my needs? Will I be using my medical insurance a lot or only during emergencies? These kinds of questions will tell you exactly what sort of health care coverage you want. If you don’t think you will use the insurance often, for instance, then perhaps you should pay a lower premium up front and carry a higher deductible. Remember that the reverse is also true; i.e., a lower deductible means a higher premium. This may come back to bite you however, depending on how high you set your deductible. You never know when you may be injured or fall ill. Of course, if your employer is providing your insurance, you are probably somewhat bound by what they offer. If you feel that it is not enough, then you can opt to supplement your coverage elsewhere.

Basic health care coverage usually consists of hospitalization and outpatient surgery coverage in case of major illness or injury. These are the bare essentials. More detailed plans cover routine doctor’s office visits, physician services, pharmaceutical, or preventative care. Though adding any one of these options to your coverage will raise your premium, they are generally included in most employers’ benefits package and should be seriously considered. The coverage that most employers offer is usually a good guideline to follow when deciding what coverage you want.

Though it may sound like a good idea to save money and simply get the cheapest coverage possible, it is usually a good idea to at least get your routine doctor’s office visits covered. By and large, this is the most common use of health care coverage and generally where most cases start out. Think about the last time you were sick. What did you first consider — the hospital or a doctor? Most people don’t want to deal with the hassle of going to the hospital to treat a minor illness and would rather just go to a local doctor’s office.

You should also seriously consider pharmaceutical coverage. You don’t realize how expensive drugs are until you have to pay for them out of pocket. Pharmaceutical coverage allows you to pay only a small co-pay and your provider pays the rest. Considering that you will often be prescribed two or three different drugs for something as simple as a sinus infection, this kind of coverage is fairly essential and ultimately may save you a lot of money.

At the end of the day, only you can decide what health care coverage you need. You can just get the basics, but you should seriously consider covering doctor’s office visits and pharmaceutical coverage, especially if you have children. These are the most common uses of medical insurance and will probably save you a lot of money in the long run”.

10 Questions You Should Ask To Yourself: A Preparation To Self-Improvement

Be all you can be, but it’s not always in the Army. I often see myself as somewhat contented with my life the way things are, but of course it’s hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed.

Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.

So we’re all pelted with problems. Honestly it shouldn’t even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks… or can they? We should ask..

1. What do I really want?
The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.

2. Should I really change?
Today’s generation has taken another level of redefining ’self’, or at least that’s what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?

If history has taught us one thing, it’s the life that we have gone through. For Western, try to see if partying Seventies style wouldn’t appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing (actually this cultural also effected young generation in Malaysia).

3. What’s the bright side in all of this?
With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it’s a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?
There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.

5. Have I done enough for myself?
Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you’ll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

6. Am I happy at where I am today?
It’s an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life! If we are happy with what we are doing right now, we will find the ‘actual’ way to be success in our life..

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?
So maybe I don’t have an answer to that, but that doesn’t mean I can’t try it, though. Whether you shape-up, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit. So.. don’t be negative for any changes that we make..

8. How much could I have?
I suppose in this case there is no such things on having things too much or too little, but it’s more on how badly you really need it. I’d like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it? This question we need to answer by our self… In Malaysia, the famous qoutes “orang lain sibuk buat duit, kita sibuk buat alasan…” by Dato’ Dr. Fadhilah Kamsah really ‘touch’ my soul to put effort and open my mind to every opportunities arises..

9. What motivates me?
What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It’s not like you can’t have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that’s it. Just try it piece by piece.

10. What Really Makes You Tick?
So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it’s something that you really want.

Thanks.

The Budget – The Ultimate Financial Management Tool For Everyone

A carpenter uses a set of house plans to build a house. If he didn’t, the bathroom might get overlooked altogether.

Rocket Scientists would never begin construction on a new booster rocket without a detailed set of design specifications. Yet most of us go blindly out into the world without an inkling of an idea about finances and without any plan at all.

Not very smart of us, is it?

A money plan is called a budget or ‘belanjawan’ in Malay… and it is crucial to get us to our desired financial goals.

Without a plan we will drift without direction and end up marooned on a distant financial reef.

If you have a spouse or a significant other, you should make this budget together. Sit down and figure out what your joint financial goals are…long term and short term.

Then plan your route to get to those goals. Every journey begins with one step and the first step to attaining your goals is to make a realistic budget that both of you can live with.

A budget should never be a financial starvation diet. That won’t work for the long haul. Make reasonable allocations for food, clothing, shelter, utilities and insurance and set aside a reasonable amount for entertainment and the occasional luxury item. Savings should always come first before any spending.

Even a small amount saved will help you reach your long term and short term financial goals. You can find many budget forms on the internet. Just use any search engine you choose and type in “free budget forms”.

You’ll get lots of hits. Print one out and work on it with your spouse or significant other. Both of you will need to be happy with the final result and feel like it’s something you can stick to.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail…. adios.

Offline Source Of Income - Open Our Mind..

In terms of making money for a living, most of people will choose what they call ‘permanent income’ (which in reallity is not) to feel save by working with other people and be as employee. Instead of working with other people in their organization, what we’ll see is that people will go for a traditional business which in their mind… “no problem… now I gain my experience in this company.. later, when I ready, I will open my own company and compete with them.. heh..” Actually this kind of thinking has pro and contra. If we look in a ‘negative’ side of it, on the surface it seems like this guy has hidden agenda by slowly absorb all knowledges and skills or most of the company ’secret’ in their operations, marketing strategies etc.. and later on build his business to compete and ‘kill’ his ‘guru’. This is the fact in a real business world.. and so many cases of companies who unable to grow because of their own employees.. and some of them has been closed their business.

However, if we look from a positive side of it, we know that the guy have his own vision to be a business owner instead of working with other people. May be with his knowledge, he can use that knowlegde in different way by offering a Joint Venture with that company or other way which not badly effect his ex-employer.

So, what we can see here are 2 catagories for offline source of income… either you be as employee or a business owner. Open our mind to all opportunities which arrises from time to time. Don’t just simply decline any opportunity that come to us… maybe that opportunity will change your life forever! What we need to do is to get more details of it and do a research before decided to joint any company or business opportunity. I’ll share on the clarification of offline income source later on.

Have a pleasant day!

Affiliate Marketing.. One Of The Best Online Income Source

Affiliate marketing programs are a great way to get income for your website, and a great introduction to e-commerce. It is one of the most simple online business plan which can be implement by any one.. and it is hassle free. You are promoting other people’s product instead of developing and produce your own product. The more you sell the product, the more commission you will get from the owner of the product. If you have your own website or blog… the more people that drop by your website, the great your chance will be at creating an excellent income.  Nowadays, this ‘industry’ exploded to the world by storm and millions of people all over the world has been exposed to this internet marketing ideas… but the number of a serious internet marketers are still less. In Malaysia, I personally felt that scenario have developed a positive reaction for Malaysian peoples… eventhough we had a ‘bad experience’ with online investment scheme which already announced by Malaysian government as illegal and ‘haram’ by Majlis Fatwa Kebangsaan (National Fatwa Association).

Return back to main topic here.. Affiliate marketing programs are where a company/individual offers to pay you a set amount for either a click through from your website, or a set amount for visitors signing up, or even a percentage of a purchase made by visitors as a result of being referred from your website. Even if visitors don’t make a purchase immediately, almost all programs offer cookie duration, normally consisting of 30 - 90 days. What this means, is that as long as the visitors have the cookie in their cache, you’ll still recieve a profit from the sale.

The biggest amount of time in maintaining your site will be searching and implementing affiliations with various companies/products. Even though there’s a lot of money in affiliate marketing, you have to take the time to search for the best programs. One thing that you may not be happy with, is the idea of other companies banners littering your website. However, in Internet Marketing… this banners can be edited with your own and associate it with companies/product owner link.

If you use too many banners or links on any web page, it can confuse and help to irritate your visitors. More than one animated element on a web page can be very distracting as well. Affiliate tracking can also be a problem. Once you have applied to become an affiliate for a company/product owner, they’ll usually supply you with a personalized link or code. It’s very important that you implement this code into your page correctly, or you may be sending visitors to the company without recieving any profit. A majority of snippets in the code will contain a unique user ID, which the company uses to distinguish which site sent traffic.

After this I’ll share more online income source that we can try for our self to generate an additional income or… if you are very serious about it, it may be your main income for life! So, financial freedom and time freedom is not just a dream anymore…
